   Call for papers

Possible themes for submissions related to the general theme include:

  • Moral development of students, teachers and societies
  • Teacher - Student interaction in democratic societies
  • Teaching methods of moral and democratic education
  • Teacher education on moral issues- a tool in making societies more democratic
  • Social justice at educational work in democratic societies
  • Moral and Democratic education at multicultural societies
  • Issues of methodology and/or assessment of moral education
  • Peace education

Other topics related with moral and democratic education can also be submitted.

 

Submissions

There are two possible presentation formats: Individual papers or Posters

Individual papers allow for 20 minutes of oral presentation plus a five minute discussion.

Posters will be presented in seperate poster sessions (poster size maximum: 140 cm high x 115 cm wide).

To submit a proposal for an individual paper or a poster, follow these guidelines

Each proposal should include:

  1. The title of the contribution
  2. The conference theme(s)
  3. The e-mail address(es) of the contributor(s)
  4. An abstract of the contribution including the discussion you wish to initiate (up to 500 words)
    Empirical papers should further include:
    • Research Goals and/or questions
    • Theoretical Background
    • Hypotheses
    • Findings
    • Method
    • Conclusions
  5. Please add 5-7 Key words
  6. Contributions should be double-spaced. Use Times New Roman, 12 point font, left-justified text.

Full papers should have about 5000-7000 words
