About SIG 13
Keynote Speaker
Yiftah Goldman teaches Political Philosophy and Philosophy of
Education at Tel Aviv University and at David Yellin College of Education in Jerusalem. His research focuses on the essence of Community
and Communitarianism. In his studies he examines the prospects
of amending modern society through the creation of intentional
communities. His recent book, "Socialism Between
Politics and Utopia" confronts the political and the
communal socialist ideologies. As a member of an urban commune (Kibbutz) in the city of Beit Shemesh, Goldman enriches his academic research
with his own "real life" experience.
